Heather is the Practice Owner and Physical Therapist at Lake Norman Physical Therapy. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University In 2007. Heather completed her B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC Chapel Hill in 2004. During her time at UNC, she was a member of the Carolina Dance Team and enjoyed cheering on the Tarheels during Football and Basketball season.

Heather is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist In Physical Therapy. She is Certified in Dry Needling and Blood Flow Restriction. Heather has trained In a variety of manual therapy techniques Including Maitland, IAOM-US and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Techniques. In addition to her vast orthopedic experience, Heather also has many years of experience treating neurological and vestibular diagnoses as well.

Heather's drive to start her own practice is to bring high quality, 1-on-1 care to Denver and the surrounding Lake Norman area. Heather lives in Denver with her husband and two girls. She loves spending her free time on Lake Norman with her family and friends, hence the name, Lake Norman Physical Therapy.
